Monica & Robert wed at the Helena Wedding Chapel!

Despite the fact that Robert’s house burned to the ground 2 days ago, he and Monica still decided to go ahead with their wedding today. I think there has never been a ‘fresher’ start for a couple. The bride was beautiful and glowing. The groom was a nervous wreck. On the phone this morning, he didn’t sound like a man that just lost every single material item he ever owned in a house fire. He had the voice of a man about to have the happiest day of his life. Robert knows that what really matters is the love of a good woman, not the things that we accumulate.

The couple were serenaded by the Tomcats, a local Barbershop Quartet during their ceremony, and sand ceremony. Afterwards, all of the guests in attendance joined the couple at 122 Tree Lane for a fabulous sit down dinner and reception.

Wendy & Wade wed!

Surrounded by family and friends, Wendy and Wade exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in Kimberly, Alabama. They had a touching sand ceremony that included their children. A sand ceremony represents all of them pouring themselves together and becoming family.

Kahla and Caleb exchange vows at the Helena Wedding Chapel

Family and friends looked on today as the beautiful wedding ceremony bound Kahla and Caleb as husband and wife today. Kahla was a very nervous bride, full of emotion and absolutely beautiful. Caleb wore his Navy uniform and was a proud groom ready to take up the yoke of husband without a second of hesitation. I’ve never seen a groom more ready to be married.

Tonya & Paul exchange vows in Hoover at Park Crest

Tonya and Paul had a touching ceremony before family and friends today at the Park Crest Event Center in Hoover, Alabama. The bride wore a dress trimmed in beautiful Christmas red. The groom wore a big smile with his tuxedo.

Kristen & Jeremy decided to stop in and get married on their way to London. It rained, which is good luck! They plan to wed again in London in a vow renewal next week! It rains in London all the time, so they should get double luck on both weddings!

Paige & Jeff become husband and wife at the Chapel

This wedding made Chapel history! Two trains came through during the wedding! That is DOUBLE good luck! That is a first, and probably the last occurance of a double train wedding.

This was one of the more emotional and heart felt weddings the chapel has done. A lot of love and hard work went into the production of this wedding. Family members pulled out all of the stop to make this a special wedding happen for this lovely couple.

Paige and Jeff started their married life off by kneeling and saying a prayer before walking down the aisle into their new life as husband and wife. A tradition, the chapel really endorses.

Two families became one, and bonus children were a blessing in the wedding bargain.

Johnny and Jennifer exchanged vows today at the chapel! They were surrounded by family and friends who witnessed the touching ceremony. The smile on the bride’s face said it all. Love. What a wonderful gift God has given us to share with each other. These two obviously have no shortage of the most important ingredient of a successful marriage. Love.

Robin & Bobby become husband and wife at the Helena Wedding Chapel

Robin and Bobby officially became husband and wife this evening at the Helena Wedding Chapel. The ceremony took place with their children, Hannah, Nick, and Adam participating as Maid of Honor, and Best Men.

The children told the Minister “It’s about time!” and happily chided each other before officially becoming brothers and sister. They have been waiting a long time to become a family.

Jeff & Selina say “I Do!” at the Helena Wedding Chapel

Jeff is a fireman, and Selina wore a fire engine red wedding dress just for him today. The veil she wore she made herself. She was a beautiful bride. Friends, family and children gathered today at the Helena Wedding Chapel to witness the union, and wish the couple well.

Best friend Janet did all of the decorating, and the ladies are proud to have put together such a fabulous wedding in just 2 weeks. Jeff and Selina are the first couple to perform a sand ceremony at the Helena Wedding Chapel. The sand ceremony replaces the unity candle, and is a far more meaningful service.

Wedding day for Ray & Dayna!

Ray and Dayna are new residents to Helena. They chose to wed at the Helena Wedding Chapel today. Quasi Gnome O, the Carillon bell ringer, was kind enough to pose with the couple’s wedding rings. The Carillon is still in pieces and not active yet, so Quasi Gnome O is making himself useful as the ring bearer until he can take his new post. Anything with a ‘ring’ in it, he is game for.

For those of you not familiar with Helena, we are a Gnome town. Visit No Sleep In Helena for all the updates of what is happening in Helena. The gnome hunts, etc.

Ray and Dayna’s friends did a ‘crash’ entrance, for they did not wish to miss their friend’s moment of bliss. Unfortunately, their parents were unable to attend, but we are certain they will appreciate the slideshow with all of the action packed wedding footage.
