The bride wore the most beautiful lace gown we have ever seen. The groom wore a great big smile as he watched her walk down the aisle to marry him. This couple is very much in love and just plain crazy about each other. The staff at the chapel loves couple like these two. They are a sheer pleasure to work with. Their family and friend came from all over to witness the ceremony. What a great sense of humor the families have. A successful marriage requires two main ingredients: God, and a sense of humor. Without both, the struggle to stay together is mighty.
Don’t forget! Marriage is a job, just like any other. You have to work at it every day!

The bride brought the entire bridesmaid section to tears as she walked down the aisle in a beautiful, unbelievable wedding gown. The groom couldn’t stop grinning. He was so proud of his beautiful bride. He promised to try to keep it close to the speed limit in his vows. They also got a good luck train! We are only sorry the song wasn’t long enough to put that incredible groom’s cake in the slideshow! Thanks for using the best wedding chapel in Alabama!

Amelia & Donald

Family and friends came from far and wide to witness the joining of Ameilia and Donald in holy matrimony. A beautiful reception was held right next door at the Event Center afterwards. Their friends toasted them and their good fortune of finding each other.
The Bride’s son walked her down the aisle. Her daughter tossed rose petals for her to walk on as she strode down the aisle to marry the love of her life. It was a large wedding party, and everyone was in nervous high spirits. The wedding was beautiful, and the couple never took their eyes off of each other as they said their vows.
For certain, a good time was had by all!

22 years ago, Laura and Chuck met in the Air Force. They lost touch. They eventually found each other again. Laura made a move to Alabama to be with Chuck, and today, they became husband and wife.
True love always makes a way. No matter how long it takes. People who are meant to be together eventually make their way back to each other.
By they way, Laura is still active duty in the Alabama Army National Guard , serving her country.

A barefoot Amy walked down the aisle to Donovan, with 2 of her 6 children on each arm. The bride and groom said their wedding vows of love and devotion before family and friends today.
Amy and Donovan are special people. They provide a home for 6 children who wouldn’t have a place to live otherwise. The world is a better place because of people like Amy and Donovan. Bless you two for what you do for these kids.
Back to the wedding. They got 3 trains! That’s right, a Chapel record!
It is clear that these two love each other without any doubts in the minds of those present. They walked out hand in hand to face the world together to the sounds of the church bells of the Helena Wedding Chapel.

Shelley & Craig, a match made….by mom.

Shelley and Craig exchanged vows before family and friends and became husband and wife today. It was a very touching ceremony, and it was performed by their minister from Kingwood Baptist. Vows were said, rings were exchanged, prayers were said, special blessings were bestowed, and poof, no more frog kissing for Shelley.
Evidently, Shelley and the Groom’s Mother work together. For years before Shelley ever even met or saw Craig for the first time, his mother would always introduce Shelley to everyone as her future daughter-in-law.
Looks like mom deserves an extra special mother’s day present for being such a good match maker.

Lital & Andrew become husband and wife.

After both a very long engagement and a very long distance engagement, Lital and Andrew finally reached the end of their rainbow, and became husband and wife today. These two are a special couple. Demonstrating that true love can overcome time, distance, and every other obstacle placed in front of it. Now, as Andrew stated, the real adventure of their lives begins.
Good friends flew in from all over to watch the couple join their lives. Lital was absolutely astoundingly beautiful in her wedding gown and veil. Andrew brought his own handkerchief, and he had a need to use. A sign to us of waters that run deep. Unlike some grooms, Andrew seems to us to always be prepared for anything. That is the best compliment any man can get.
An interesting thing happened to Lital, while one of our photographers was shooting her at the railroad tracks. God sent Angels to place Lital’s veil over her face just before the wedding. That’s what we call a Cinderella moment.
Andrew, take good care of her. Lital, let him take good care of you.

Dana & Jason make it officially official tonight!

In a stunning dress trimmed in sequins, Dana walked down the aisle on her father’s arm to wed the man of her dreams. Jason was quite stunned himself by Dana. Their families attended a touching ceremony and watched with tears as their children were joined in holy matrimony.
They are off to Jamaica for a honeymoon! We wanted to go and carry the luggage. But, alas, we have a slideshow to produce!

Rachel & Justin wed at the Helena Wedding Chapel

The smaller ceremonies are the chapel staff’s favorites. With a small crowd, there is less chaos, and you actually have a few moments to chat with the couple getting married and get a sense of who they are, and get to know their families. This was one of the smaller, yet sweeter ceremonies at the chapel. This was also the first couple to be married under the brand new Grand Duchess ceiling.
Marriage is not to be taken lightly or unadvisedly, and it was obvious that these two meant business. Both families got along so well. The mother and father of the bride told our minister that they were going on 35 years of marriage. So their families obviously set the fine example of sticking together through it all.
Congratulations from the minister and staff of the Helena Wedding Chapel! The only chapel with real wedding bells built into the ceremony!

A surprise wedding! Jan & Barry renew their vows after 10 years!

“The Chapel is under construction.” is what Barry was told, but he didn’t care.
He wanted to marry his wife again on the day of their 10 year anniversary. Construction or not, Barry and Jan exchanged vows inside the chapel under the rafters. In a week those rafters will be our new Grand Duchess ceiling.
Reverend Parker had made the decision to close for 2 weeks so we could install our new fancy schmancy ceiling, but she couldn’t turn down a guy as romantic as Barry. You just gotta help a man out every now and then make the love of his life happy.
He took Jan to dinner at Fox Valley, one of the best kept secrets in the county. Fox Valley is a five star restaurant hidden in the parking lot of a gas station. (The Steak and Cake is to die for!)
Then he treated her to a walk in Old Town, and a cup of coffee at Big Mountain coffee.
She heard the Chapel’s carillon play “Amazing Grace” as he managed to get her, totally clueless, inside for a surprise wedding.
Barry gave her a card, a new diamond ring, and proposed again on the spot. Before Jan knew it, she was being married in a surprise wedding on her 10 year anniversary.
